“Jamrock” follows the remarkable journey of Kai Lightner, a 12-time national climbing champion and the visionary founder of “Climb for Change.”

EMBRACING THE GRIM
After conquering massive alpine walls together, Fay and Line head north to the ephemeral Scottish land of mixed climbing. The objectives are ambitious and the weather is fickle, testing the all women team’s perseverance.
This project was conceived and produced by Aleksandra Janiak, Fay Manners and Line Van den Berg. Sadly, Line never had the chance to see it finished.

This is Jackson Marvell. He’s totaled 5 trucks, hauled kegs up rock towers, and rarely (if ever) brushed his hair.

The documentary opens with Fré’s arrival in Salt Lake City, USA, where the first of four crucial competitions to top the global rankings is taking place. With an unshakeable resolve, Fré shares his dream of becoming world champion despite the challenges presented by his disability.
